Stuffed French Toast

French toast, a staple at the breakfast/brunch scene and receives other flavors very well. This particular style of French toast was designed to be tart and sweet. To accomplish that I took texas toast with cranberry relish cream cheese filling, using the cranberry relish recipe from a previous post.

Ingredients

  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup of milk (any milk is fine)
  • 1 tbsp. cinnamon
  • 12 pieces of texas toast
  • 16 oz cream cheese
  • 8 oz cranberry relish
  • 1 stick of butter

Preparation

  1. Blend together cranberry relish and cream cheese.
  2. Whisk together milk, eggs, and cinnamon.
  3. Heat non stick pan and add 1 tsp of butter.
  4. Take the dry bread and spread cream cheese on it.
  5. Dip sandwich in the egg batter and begin to cook bread. About 4 mins each side.
  6. Let cool for about 1 min then cut diagonally and enjoy!
